Search Warrant Turns Up Hefty Sum of Cash and Cannabis

According to a press release, officers were called to the 5500 N. block of U.S. 35 in Pulaski County to follow-up on a criminal complaint. Further investigation at the home eventually led investigators to obtain a search warrant.user2315-1460652279-media1_cfd3d6_137_115_PrsMe_

The Sheriff’s Department says the warrant was executed with the assistance of the Indiana State Police and the Winamac Police Department. Investigators located cannabis some packaging in addition to about $4,700 in cash.

18-year-old Kyle Brunt and 25-year-old Kelly Bain were arrested on multiple charges, user2315-1460652282-media4_341000_240_117_PrsMe_including Neglect of a Dependent, Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Dealing Marijuana, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Paraphernalia.

Authorities say the juvenile located at the residence was released to the custody of a family member. The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department says it intends to make more arrests in the case.
