The Winamac Park Board is expected to finalize a few of the policies for board members, when it meets this evening. Based on discussion at the board’s previous meeting, board members will be presented with policies regarding the disclosure of potential nepotism and conflicts of interest.
The park board has also been working to form of an advisory council to help get input from the community as well as raise funds for the Winamac’s park and recreation facilities. Several names have been brought up for potential advisory council members, and the Winamac Tree Committee is also expected to be offered a seat.
Tonight’s Winamac Park Board meeting starts at 7:00 p.m. at the Clerk-Treasurer’s Office in the Winamac Town Hall.
