Gubernatorial Candidate to Visit Knox, Plymouth During Week-Long Bus Tour

Democratic gubernatorial candidate John Gregg is setting off on a week-long bus tour in a final attempt to meet voters before Election Day. The tour starts today in Gregg’s hometown of Sandborn.

According to a schedule released by his campaign, the bus will make its way to several local communities next Friday. He’ll start the day in Plymouth, with a 9:00 a.m. meet and greet with voters at Opie’s Deli and Office on Michigan Street. Gregg will then head to Rochester, for a visit to Tweedle D’s between 10:30 and 11:00 a.m.

At noon, Gregg will meet with residents in Knox, but a location for the event has not yet been announced. After that, it will be on to LaPorte for a 1:00 p.m. meet and greet at Carpenters Local #1485. A stop in Portage is planned later that afternoon, before Gregg caps off Friday with a rally in Michigan City.

According to a press release from Gregg’s campaign, the gubernatorial candidate will be joined by his running mate Christina Hale, Evan Bayh, Senator Joe Donnelly, and others for portions of the tour. Candidates for other state and local offices are also expected to appear at the campaign stops.
