Prospective preschool and kindergarten students and their families are invited to Oregon-Davis Elementary School today to get more information about education opportunities this fall.
Kindergarten Round-Up will take place from 3 until 6 p.m. Youngsters who will be 5 on or before Aug. 1, 2017 can start kindergarten this fall. Parents will need to bring the child’s birth certificate and immunization records with them.
Youngsters and their families can look forward to touring the building, visiting the classrooms, watching a video about a day in kindergarten and enjoying refreshments and goodie bags.
Information will also be available about O-D’s preschool classes. They will be held weekdays from 8 until 10:30 a.m. and will help prepare students for kindergarten. Youngsters who will be 4 by January of 2018 can enroll.
