Knox School Board to Discuss Timeline for Superintendent Search

The Knox School Board will get more information on the superintendent search process tonight.

According to information posted on the school corporation’s website, applications for superintendent are being accepted through this Friday. School officials hope to have a new superintendent in place by August 1. A more detailed timeline is expected to be announced during the school board’s 6:30 p.m. meeting.

Last month, board members voted to negotiate a buyout of A.J. Gappa’s superintendent contract. Jim Dermody is currently leading the corporation in an interim capacity.

In other business tonight, board members will consider a lease agreement for copy machines and will get an update from the Lil’ Redskins Booster Club.
