The volunteer group that promotes and maintains the North Judson Erie Trail is planning a colorful fundraiser next month. The Prairie Trails Club is hosting a 5K color run/walk on Saturday, June 3.
Registration forms are available now at Osborne Advantage Real Estate. The entry fee is $20 for those who sign up by Saturday, May 27. Registration will also take place the day of the race for $25. Participants will get a shirt and a personal color packet. The event gets underway at 8:00 a.m. on June 3 at Norwayne Field in North Judson.
As part of its efforts, Prairie Trails Club schedules work days in which volunteers clear weeds from the trail area and do various types of maintenance.
