Seven Arrested in La Porte County Drug Task Force Investigation

 

Seven suspects were arrested on Tuesday, May 16 after an investigation by the La Porte County Drug Task Force.

Charges include dealing in a controlled substance and dealing in cocaine in varying levels of severity.

Gregory Wyse, 23, of Michigan City; Nicole Kraus, 32, of La Porte; Alexis Wroblewski, 29, of La Porte; John Hancock, 45, of Kingsford Heights; Kevin Westin, 38, of Michigan City; Charles Peterson, 64, of Michigan City; and Zachary Alvarado, 24, of Michigan City were arrested a result of the effort to eradicate illegal drugs.

The investigation involving these individuals is ongoing and task force officials anticipate more arrests as a result of those investigations.

The La Porte County Drug Task Force worked with the Fugitive Apprehension Street Team in making the arrests. The task force continues to aggressively pursue individuals who sell narcotics.
