West Central Honors Retirees, Milestone Employees

The West Central School Corporation last week recognized three retiring teachers and honored five employees with milestone awards.

Science teacher John Dean Hill and language arts teacher Karen Srull are retiring retiring after 38 years. So is 4th grade teacher Jodena Schlatter. She’s been with West Central for 31.5 years.

School Board members also presented milestone awards to several employees. Kay Allen was recognized for 20 years of service to the corporation, as was head custodian Ron Schultz. School nurse Arlene Metzger has been at West Central for 25 years. Kindergarten teacher Becky DeWitt and 4th grade teacher Lorie Zellers were each honored for 30 years of service to the corporation.
