Knox City Council to Meet Tonight

The Knox City Council will meet tonight there they will discuss ordinances that deal with voluntary annexations for a potential hotel.

The 10 acres of annexed property would be just south of 1st Source Bank in Knox.

The city council held a public hearing during the last meeting with no public comment with the first readings approved on the respective ordinances. One ordinance addresses the first half of the property south of 1st Source Bank in Knox. The second ordinance addresses the second half of the property north of JR Weaver LLC.

The council will consider the second reading and possible adoption on those ordinances when they meet tonight.

Clerk-Treasurer Cyndi Mann-Kidder and Mayor Dennis Estok will provide regular reports to the council.

The Knox City Council will meet at 6 p.m. CT at Knox City Hall at 101 W. Washington Street.
