Incidents:
11/03/14 – The North Judson Police Department responded to a theft complaint at the NJ-SP Middle School. A completed report was turned over to the Juvenile Probation Department.

11/03/14 – A resident reported to police that her vehicle was stolen. The vehicle was located down the street where the resident left it earlier in the day.

11/04/14 – Officers had a request to do a welfare check on a male subject in the 700 block of Laurel Street. The male subject was fine and was just sleeping.

11/04/14 – The North Judson Police Department assisted the Indiana State Police on a traffic stop in the area of State Road 10 and U Road.

11/05/14 – A resident reported to police that a battery occurred earlier in the day. A complete report was filed with the Juvenile Probation Department.

11/06/14 – North Judson Police Officer Nick Vanni responded to a suspicious incident call in the 200 block of West Talmer Avenue. After a brief investigation, Maxine Grigsby, 36, of Monticello, was arrested for criminal damage to property, public intoxication and possession of a controlled substance.

11/07/14 – An employee at Dollar General requested a police officer for a shoplifter. North Judson Chief Deputy Joe Budner responded and met with the manager and suspect in the parking lot. After a brief investigation Maxi I. Schultz, 34, of Medaryville, was arrested for theft.

11/07/14 – A resident told police that someone was in their back yard with a flashlight. North Judson police officers responded and located someone who had been in the resident’s shed. Nothing was taken.

11/08/14 – Police responded to an animal complaint in the 500 block of North George Street. The dog and the owner were not located.

11/06/14 – Maxine Grigsby, 36, of Monticello, was arrested on preliminary charges of criminal damage to property, public intoxication and possession of a controlled substance.

11/07/14 – Maxi I. Schultz, 34, of Medaryville, was arrested on a preliminary charge of theft.

Incidents:

11/1/14 – A purse was reported stolen from a vehicle at the Family Dollar in the 1000 block of South Heaton Street in Knox.

11/3/14 – A wallet and several other items were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 1200 block of South 300 East in Knox.

11/4/14 – Police respond to the report of a drive off of $24.01 at One Stop on Heaton Street Knox.

Incidents:

11/3/14 – A resident in the 8000 block of South Forest Ave. in Knox reported the theft of a lawn mower and a 40 piece horse corral from his property.

11/3/14 – A resident in the 6100 block of west 700 South in North Judson reported a tree trimming company came onto his property and cut a tree of his down. He told the officer he never contacted this tree trimming company and never requested this tree be cut down, but a member of the crew said he did.

11/3/14 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Department took a report of a vehicle versus deer crash on 600 West north of State Road 10.

11/3/14 – A resident in the 7300 block of West Toto Road Way in North Judson reported suspicious activity behind her house possibly indicative of deer poaching.

11/4/14 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Department took a report of a vehicle versus deer crash on 600 West at State Road 10.

11/4/14 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Department, Koontz Lake and Hamlet Fire Departments responded to a tractor-trailer rollover accident on U.S. 30 at 500 East, west of State Road 23.

11/4/14 – The owner of property at 1025 East and Division Road reported people putting hunting blinds on his property without permission.

11/4/14 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Department took a report of a vehicle versus deer crash on 700 East north of 200 South in Knox.

11/5/14 – A resident in the 4200 block of Lakeshore Drive in Bass Lake reported receiving threatening telephone calls.

11/5/14 – A resident in the 8800 block of East 850 S. in Monterey reported the theft of a box trailer.

11/5/14 – A resident in the 7100 block of Pine Tree Lane in Walkerton advised his neighbor is playing his music extremely loud again.

11/5/14 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Department, Starke County EMS and Fire Department First Responders all responded to a report of a vehicle that went into a ditch on State Road 10 at 750 West in North Judson but were unable to find the driver.

11/6/14 – A man who rents a pole barn in the 3000 block of South 200 East reported the lock was cut off with bolt cutters or some other type of tool.

11/6/14 – A resident in the 6700 block of East 200 South in Knox reported her identity was stolen in August.

11/6/14 – Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a single-vehicle rollover accident on U.s. 30 at 1150 East in Knox.

11/6/14 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Department responded to a two-vehicle property damage accident on South Avenue at Techuseh in Walkerton.

11/7/14 – A resident in the 3400 block of west 400 South in North Judson reported being harassed by a neighbor.

11/7/14 – An employee of Shaw’s Fertilizer in Knox reported his cell phone was stolen sometime yesterday while he was at work.

11/7/14 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Department took a report of a vehicle versus deer accident in the 2300 block of East State Road 10 in Knox.

11/7/14 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Department responded to a vehicle versus turkey property damage accident on Toto Road east of U.S. 35 in Knox.

11/8/14 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Department took a report of a vehicle versus deer crash in the 7000 block of South State Road 10 in Knox in front of KP’s Korner.

11/8/14 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Department took a report of a vehicle versus deer crash in the 8300 block of U.S. 421 in San Pierre, about a mile south of the Kankakee River.

11/9/14 – The Morland Hunt Club trailer at English Lake and Toto Roads in North Judson burned down the previous night, and the owner would like to speak to an officer.

11/9/14 – A resident in the 4000 block of South 300 East in Knox reported someone did donuts in her yard the previous night and tore up the yard.

11/9/14 – An anonymous caller advised he found a small meth lab by the side of the road in the 3000 block of south 210 in Knox.
