Starke County Sheriff's Department Badge8/5/15 – A resident in the 2000 block of west Toto Road reported the theft of her cell phone by a known suspect.

8/5/15 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Office, Starke County EMS and Hamlet Fire Department first responders all responded to a report of a vehicle in a ditch at the intersection of 500 East and 400 North in Hamlet.

8/6/15 – A resident in the 8800 block of South U.S. 35 in Knox reported someone trespassing in his yard and said they left in a loud car headed toward J&K Deli.

8/6/15 – Several agencies responded to a two-vehicle accident on U.S. 30 on front of the Grovertown Truck Stop.

8/6/15 – A resident in the 11600 block of East Toto Road in Culver reported a residential break-in.

8/7/15 – A single-vehicle property damage accident was reported on State Road 39 near the Kankakee River in Knox.

8/7/15 – Officers responded to a report of possible drug activity in the 7700 block of North Meadow Lane in Walkerton.

8/7/15 – Officers took a battery report from a woman in the emergency room at IU Health Starke Hospital. She says the incident occurred near Toto Road and U.S. 35.

8/8/15 – Officers responded to a vehicle versus raccoon incident that resulted in damage to the vehicle and took a report.

8/8/15 – A resident in the 11100 block of Pottawotomine Trail North in Walkerton reported the theft of more than $100 worth of liquor from her garage.

8/9/15 – A resident in the 5100 block of south CR 210 in Knox reported her property has been damaged by some sort of motorized vehicle.

8/9/15 – Officers responded to a vehicle versus deer crash on State Road 10 just east of Range Road.

8/9/15 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Office, Starke County EMS and first responders all responded to a go-cart accident with injuries in the 700 block of South State Road 23 in Knox.

8/10/15 – A resident in the 2700 block of west 700 North in North Judson reported the theft of cash from her wallet.

8/10/15 – Officers took a report of a vehicle versus deer crash in the 7200 block of north 700 East in Walkerton.

8/11/15 – Officers responded to a report of a breaking and entering in progress in the 7500 block of east 50 South in Knox.

8/11/15 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Office, North Judson Police Department and Starke County EMS responded to a report of an accident on Toto Road west of Range Road in North Judson.

8/11/15 – Officers responded to a single vehicle accident on 350 West south of Toto Road in North Judson. The driver swerved to avoid a deer and got stuck in a field.

8/13/15 – A resident in the 9600 block of East State Road 8 in Knox reported a burglary.

8/13/15 – Officers took a report of a vehicle versus deer crash on State Road 39 one mile south of Toto Road.

8/13/15 – A resident in the 6900 block of East Toto Road reported the theft of her Waste Management trash cans.

8/14/15 – A Knox resident reported her sister’s house has been broken into.

8/14/15 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Office, North Judson Police and San Pierre Fire Department First responders responded to a vehicle versus polie accident on U.S. 421 at 400 South in San Pierre.

8/15/15 – A Knox man advised he bought an iPhone over the Internet and learned it was stolen when he went to have it activated.

8/15/15 – A resident in the 6000 block of south Range Road in North Judson reported a trespasser going through her pole barn and trashing things.

8/15/15 – A resident in the 8000 block of Tonti Lane in Walkerton reported the theft of a battery from her boat.

8/16/15 – Officers responded to a property damage accident on 1200 East between 600 and 700 North in Knox.

8/16/15 – A residential burglary was reported in the 8300 block of east 25 North. Items taken include a computer, TV, blu-ray player, XBOX 360 and XBOX 1.

8/16/15 – A resident in the 6800 block of North 900 East in Walkerton reported someone is removing items from her property without permission.

8/16/15 – A resident in the 5900 block of south State Road 10 in Knox advised he believes he’s recovered a stolen bicycle.

8/17/15 – A vendor reported broken windows at a foreclosed residence in the 4400 block of east 250 South in Knox.

8/17/15 – A resident in the 2500 block of south 700 East in Knox reported vandalism to her driveway and a child’s swimming pool.

8/17/15 – A role of brand new wire was reported stolen in the 9500 block of east 750 North.

8/18/15 – A resident in the 500 block of south 500 East in Knox advised a driver in an older blue pickup truck hit her neighbor’s mailbox and continued towards town.

8/18/15 – Officers responded to a property damage accident on U.S. 35 south of Toto Road.

8/18/15 – Officers responded to a property damage accident on State Road 8 west of 1200 East in Culver.

8/18/15 – Officers responded to a property damage accident on 400 South west of 450 West in North Judson.

8/19/15 – A woman reported being battered by another woman at a residence in the 8900 block of South Birch Street in Monterey.

8/21/15 – A man told officers he was walking on U.S. 30 when a gray pickup truck stopped and someone inside rolled the window down and displayed a gun. He believes it has something to do with an arrest in Marshall County.

8/21/15 – Officers responded to a property damage accident on State Road 8 at 1025 East in Grovertown.

8/21/15 – Officers responded to a single-vehicle property damage accident on 1200 east in Koontz Lake.

8/21/15 – Sheriff’s deputies, North Judson Police, Starke County EMS and San Pierre Fire Department First Responders all responded to a vehicle versus pole accident on U.S. 421 at Ann Street in San Pierre.

8/21/15 – A resident in the 2300 block of West U Road in North Judson requested an officer for a theft report.

8/22/15 – Officers were called to Bass Lake Pub and Ristorante regarding a disgruntled employee.

8/23/15 – Officers responded to a two-vehicle accident with minor property damage in the 4400 block of North 700 East in Hamlet.

8/231/5 – A resident in the 2100 block of East U.S. 30 in Knox reported someone dumped trash at his property entrance on 700 North, including carpet, broken glass, mail and clothing. He was able to obtain a name from an envelope.

8/23/15 – A resident in the 8800 block of south U.S. 35 in Monterey reported two known suspects have stolen his vehicle, his dog and an Xbox, which he found at the pawn shop in Knox.

8/23/15 – Officers responded to a property damage accident at the intersection of Southside Parkway and 250 West in North Judson.

8/25/15 – Items were reported stolen from a jobsite at 800 East and 200 South in Knox.

8/25/15 – Officers responded to a vehicle versus deer accident in the 6300 block of south 700 East in Knox.

8/26/15 – Officers responded to a vehicle versus deer property damage accident in the 8900 block of south 1175 East in Culver.

8/26/15 – North Judson Police, Starke County EMS, the Starke County Sheriff’s Office and North Judson-Wayne Township Fire Department responded to a traffic accident with injuries at State Road 10 and U Road in North Judson.

9/5/15 – Officers and first responders responded to a rollover accident at the intersection of U.S. 421 and Phebe in San Pierre. They were unable to locate the driver.

9/5/15 – A resident in the 9200 block of East State Road 8 in Knox reported the theft of a motorcycle from his barn.

9/5/15 – Officers responded to a two-vehicle property damage accident at the intersection of 50 South and State Road 23 in Knox.

9/6/15 – A resident in the 100 block of north 800 East in Knox reported shots fired the previous night and said a stray bullet hit a vehicle on their property.

9/7/15 – A resident in the 4100 block of east 190 North in Knox advised someone tried to get into her garage the previous night and damaged the door.

9/7/15 – A resident in the 2400 block of west 500 South in North Judson advised his house was broken into.

9/7/15 – A resident in the 1100 block of east State Road 10 in Knox reported his 2010 Ford Fusion stolen.

9/7/15 – A Walkerton resident advised he has two boats turned upside down on the ground at the lakefront access and someone set a fire underneath the boat and damaged it.

9/7/15 – A Knox resident said his ID was stolen from his car while he was in jail and the person who took it used it to buy pseudoephendrine.

9/8/15 – A resident in the 2100 block of north 325 East in Knox advised he was bitten by his neighbor’s dog.

9/9/15 – A resident in the 100 block of south State Road 23 in Knox reported the theft of items from her front porch.

9/9/15 – Officers took a report of a vehicle versus stump property damage accident in the 2700 block of south State Road 23.

9/9/15 – An Illinois resident reported the theft of items from her summer home in the 5400 block of East Rivera Court in Knox.

9/9/15 – Starke County EMS, North Judson Fire Department First Responders and officers responded to a three-vehicle injury accident on State Road 10 at 250 West in North Judson.

9/9/15 – A resident in the 1700 block of east 700 North in Knox advised someone dumped TVs and other large pieces of trash along the roadway near his residence. The inmate work crew was sent to the area to clean things up.

9/10/15 – Officers responded to a possible burglary at a residence in the 7600 block of North Higgins Road in Koontz Lake.

9/10/15 – A motorist reported a man wearing a dark shirt and a hat threw a rock at her car on U.S. 35 north of State Road 8 and struck the vehicle.

9/10/15 – A Highland resident advised his vanity plate “THEBEEF” was stolen sometime over the weekend at his summer home in Koontz Lake.

9/10/15 – A resident in the 7600 block of north Higgins Road in Koontz Lake reported a possible break-in at his neighbor’s home.

9/11/15 – An employee from United Ambulance reported the theft of an air compressor.

9/11/15 – A resident in the 3900 block of east Mae Delano Dr. in Knox reported damage to her shed.

9/11/15 – A resident in the 3400 block of south 100 West in North Judson reported a red-nosed pit bull and a boxer stolen.

9/12/15 – Officers responded to a single-vehicle crash on 600 East north of 25 North in Knox. No injuries were reported.

9/12/15 – The owner of land at the intersection of Toto Road and 300 West reported someone drove into his cow pasture and dumped what appeared to be two loads of cinder blocks and bricks.

9/12/15 – A resident in the 5000 block of east 200 North in Knox reported a man with a flashlight came to her residence asking for help for his mother-in-law who is out in the woods stuck in a bush with no pants.

9/13/15 – A resident in the 9300 block of east 700 North in Grovertown reported an attempted residential break-in.

9/13/15 – A resident in the 4100 block of North Indian Mound Trail in Grovertown reported someone trying to enter the home through the back door and advised the person left and is parked nearby in a white Honda CRV. Officers searched and found no signs of attempted forced entry or footprints.

9/13/15 – A resident in the 9900 block of east 1100 North in Knox reported someone cut down some of her trees and took her chicken.

9/14/15 – A man reported his truck was broken into last night in the 1600 block of east 500 South in Knox.

9/14/15 – Officers responded to a vehicle versus deer crash on 900 South at 600 East in Monterey.

9/14/15 – A resident in the 11300 block of east 675 South in Knox reported his dog stolen on Sept. 5. It’s a Jack Russell Mini, all white with brown ears and weighs 9 pounds.

9/14/15 – Police, Starke County EMS and the Hamlet Fire Department responded to a single-vehicle crash on U.S. 30 west of 500 East in Knox. A semi rolled over, crushing the cab.

9/14/15 – The Starke County Highway Department advises they have gotten numerous complaints about semis turning around on 700 North at 500 East in Walkerton due to road construction and say a truck has damaged the bridge guardrail.

9/14/15 – The owner of a property in the 1200 block of south 1000 East in Knox advised his recently evicted renter is dumping garbage behind the barn on the property.

9/14/15 – A North Judson resident reported being harassed via text messages and Facebook.

9/14/15 – Officers responded to a property damage accident in the Save a Lot parking lot.

9/14/15 – Officers received a report of trespassers doing donuts at the intersection of Toto Road and 400 West in North Judson.

9/14/15 – A resident in the 4000 block of east 216 South in Knox advised someone broke into her residence and smashed several items.

9/15/15 – An employee at the Grovertown Truck Stop reported the theft of merchandise from the store the previous night and said they have the incident on surveillance footage.

9/15/15 – Officers responded to a property damage accident in the 7600 block of North Kickapoo Road in Walkerton. A witness says someone drove by with a BB gun, shot the windows and rain the mailbox over.

9/15/15 – A resident in the 8700 block of North U.S. 35 in Hamlet returned home to work to find her residence has been broken into. Jewelry and jewelry boxes are missing and her bedroom has been ransacked.

9/15/15 – A resident in the 6100 block of West 800 South in North Judson reported the theft of over 1,000 pine cones from his driveway.

9/16/15 – A resident in the 11100 block of east 400 North in Knox reported an attempted break-in at his residence. Nothing appears to be missing.

9/16/15 – An employee at the Koontz Lake Library in Walkerton reported vandalism occurring there after hours.
