Starke County Sheriff's Department Badge9/24/15 – A resident in the 10400 block of East 500 North in Grovertown came home to find the back door of the home kicked in, their master bedroom ransacked and a safety deposit box missing.

9/24/15 – A resident in the 1500 block of south Fernwood Drive in Knox reported her neighbor’s horses have damaged a significant portion of her lawn.

9/24/15 – A resident the 3300 block of east State Road 10 in Knox reported the discovery of two bullet holes on the exterior of her home just below her bedroom window and advised they appeared to be fairly fresh. She added the bullets did not go all the way through the wall.

9/24/15 – A resident in the 100 block of South Fisher St. in San Pierre reported being harassed in person and over the telephone.

9/25/15 – A Knox resident reported fraudulent use of her bank account.

9/25/15 – A caller advised a man is running around Hickory Hills Campground in Knox and stealing wire.

9/25/15 – A resident in the 10100 block of West State Road 10 in San Pierre reported someone throwing rocks at her vehicles.

9/25/15 – A resident in the 3700 block of north 700 East in Grovertown reported his neighbor keeps shooting his guns.

9/26/15 – Sheriff’s deputies responded to a burglary in progress call in the 2600 block of south 700 East in Knox and reportedly found drugs and paraphernalia in the suspect’s vehicle. An arrest was made.

9/26/15 – A resident in the 2600 block of south 700 East in Knox reported two known suspects stole money from her the previous day.

9/26/15 – Officers responded to a two-vehicle property damage accident on State Road 8 at the railroad tracks.

9/26/15 – A resident in the 9800 block of east 50 South in Knox advised her daughter bought a 4-wheeler a few days before and believes it might be stolen.

9/29/15 – A vehicle versus deer crash was reported on State Road 10 between 700 East and State Road 23 in Knox.

9/27/15 – A moped and other items were reported stolen from a residence on Toto Road near Fletcher’s Carpet.

9/27/15 – A resident in the 5800 block of south U Road in North Judson reported the theft of a 4 wheeler from a yard.

9/27/15 – A resident in the 5800 block of South A Street in North Judson reported a maroon Chevy truck hit her mailbox and her neighbor’s mailbox before heading to State Road 10.

9/28/15 – A resident in the 6800 block of East Oakwood Ave. in North Judson reported the theft of multiple trees.

9/28/15 – A resident in the 100 block of south Fisher Street in San Pierre advised someone came into her residence and cut the lock off her bedroom door.

9/28/15 – A resident in the 11300 block of East Circle Ave. in Walkerton reported the theft of a boat cover.

9/28/15 – A resident the 7200 block of south 250 West in North Judson advised he came home from work and found someone had hit his car in his driveway.

9/28/15 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Office and Knox City Police Department responded to a two-vehicle property damage accident at the intersection of Lake Street and U.S. 35 in Knox.

9/28/15 – Deputies responded to a report of a vehicle versus tree accident at the intersection of County Road 625 South and 700 East in Bass Lake. The driver was arrested.

9/29/15 – A resident in the 3200 block of west 400 South in North Judson advised she hit a raccoon on the way home from work the previous night and has front end damage to her car as a result.

9/29/15 – A resident in the 100 block of East 400 South in Knox reported the theft of a laptop computer from Knox High School.

9/29/15 – A deputy responded to a single-vehicle property damage accident on 150 North east of 700 East in Knox.

9/29/15 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Office, Starke County EMS and fire department first responders all responded to a report of a truck in a field on 900 East at Yellowstone Trail in Grovertown due to a report of injuries sustained in the crash.

9/29/15 – A resident in the 5000 block of South 600 West in North Judson reported being harassed by two known suspects.

9/30/15 – A resident in the 10800 block of East Toto Road in Culver reported the theft of a blue scooter from his barn.

9/30/15 – A vehicle versus deer crash was reported on Toto Road between U.S. 35 and 700 East in Knox.

9/30/15 – A resident in the 6800 block of Hickory Drive in Knox filed a vandalism report on a SUV.

9/30/15 – The owner of the N&S Storage Units in the 2600 block of South U.S. 35 in Knox reported seven units were broken into and have been destroyed.

9/30/15 – A resident in the 10500 block of East 50 North in Knox reported the theft of her truck plate.

9/24/15 – Jonathan F. Porter, 32, Aurora – Possession of marijuana.

9/24/15 – Bryan M. Flowers, 32, LaPorte – Resisting law enforcement – uses vehicle or draws or uses a deadly weapon, reckless driving and criminal mischief.

9/24/15 – Kevin Douglas Reading, 21, Attica – Possession of cocaine or a narcotic drug, driving while suspended, maintaining a common nuisance and possession of paraphernalia.

9/26/15 – Patrina Dinana Hall, 33, Melrose Park – Dealing in methamphetamine, illegal drug lab; possession or sale of precursors less than 10 grams, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of paraphernalia, criminal trespass and false informing.

9/26/15 – Kirk Alan Barnett, 29, Plymouth – Public intoxication, operating a vehicle without financial responsibility and failure to stop at an accident resulting in property damage.

9/28/15 – Robert Ehreshman, 27, Knox – Public intoxication and failure to stop after an accident.

Incidents

9/22/15 – Good to Go reported a female shoplifter. The suspect left prior to the officer’s arrival. A report was sent to the Starke County Prosecutor’s Office for review and possible charges.

9/24/15 – A verbal trespass warning was issued to an unwanted guest at Burger King. The man was told he would be arrested if he returns.

9/27/15 – An officer responded to a harassment complaint in the 300 block of Leslie Street and took a report.

9/28/15 – A second harassment complaint was filed involving the parties from the previous day in the 300 block of Leslie Street.

9/30/15 – Officers responded to an intimidation call involving a separated couple. A copy of the report was forwarded to the Starke County Prosecutor’s Office.

9/30/15 – Officers were notified of a juvenile being battered. According to the investigating officer, two youngsters were playing and a shoving match ensued. After one juvenile went home, his father returned and battered the other juvenile. No serious injuries were reported, but the father was arrested.

9/30/15 – Officers responded to another intimidation call in the 100 block of Sycamore Street, took a report and sent it to the prosecutor’s office for review.

10/1/15 – North Judson police were advised of some suspicious noises coming from the area of the U-Lock storage units in the 800 block of Talmer Ave. Officers checked the area, walked around the building and did not find any sign of problems.

10/3/15 – Officers responded to a report of two people going door-to-door on Mint Road just outside the town limits The pair did not have the proper permits and left the area.

09/27/15 – John P. Trent, 42, North Judson – possession of paraphernalia and possession of marijuana
