Incidents:

12/26/16 – A vehicle fire was reported in the 8500 block of east 150 South in Knox.
12/26/16 – A resident in the 600 block of Railroad Street in Hamlet reported an attempted break-in in progress.
12/26/16 – A single-vehicle property damage accident was reported at the intersection of 700 South and 1100 East in Culver.
12/26/16 – Keys and a cell phone were reported missing from a vehicle towed from Toto Road west of Range Road Saturday evening.
12/26/16 – Animals were reportedly left outside for several days at A Street and Donna in North Judson. The caller advised the owner has not been home.
12/26/16 – Several items were reported stolen from a residence in the 2100 block of east 400 South in Knox.
12/26/16 – A resident in the 6200 block of 600 East in Knox thought she saw a person in a red sweatshirt outside the house. Officers responded and were unable to locate anyone.
12/26/16 – A truck was reported stolen in the 7200 block of north 50 East in Hamlet.
12/26/16 – A drone received as a Christmas gift crashed near Dr. Brown’s old office on Culver Road and was not recovered. If anyone finds it, please contact the Starke County Sheriff’s Office at 574-772-3771 so it can be reunited with its owner.
12/26/16 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Office and Starke County EMS responded to a report of an overdose in the 2200 block of south 200 East in Knox.
12/27/16 – A resident in the 6600 block of east State Road 10 in Knox found drug paraphernalia in her home and asked to speak to an officer.
12/27/16 – A vehicle versus deer property damage accident was reported on State Road 39 half a mile north of Toto Road.
12/27/16 – The caller who reported a truck stolen in the 7200 block of North 50 East in Hamlet the previous night advised the suspect, who is a family member, called and is making threats and also took some chainsaws from the residence.
12/27/16 – A Knox resident advised several international online transactions were made with his bank card issued by AAA Federal Credit Union out of South Bend.
12/27/16 – A vehicle that was driving by was damaged by someone cutting down a tree in the 2400 block of North State Road 23 in Knox.
12/27/16 – A resident in the 5100 block of east Woodland Drive in Knox reported a cell phone stolen.
12/27/16 – A vehicle versus deer property damage accident was reported on State Road 10 west of Konrad’s in North Judson.
12/28/16 – A Knox resident reported receiving harassing telephone calls.
12/28/16 – A resident in the 11000 block of east 550 North in Grovertown reported someone tried to blow his truck up.
12/28/16 – The trash cans at the cemetery at 25 North and 700 East in Washington Township were reported stolen and have possibly been located.
12/28/16 – The Hamlet resident in the 7200 block of North 50 East who reported her pickup truck stolen advised it has been recovered along with the contents.
12/28/16 – A vehicle was reportedly keyed in the 5100 block of east Woodland Drive in Knox.
12/28/16 – A vehicle versus deer property damage accident was reported at the intersection of State Road 23 and State Road 8 in Knox.
12/29/16 – A North Judson resident reported someone opened a Dish Network account in her name.
12/29/16 – A resident in the 5100 block of east Woodland Ave. in Knox reported criminal damage to her vehicle.
12/29/16 – A vehicle versus deer property damage accident was reported on U.S. 35 south of Stelrema.
12/30/16 – A Knox resident reported being scammed by people claiming to be her grandson and an attorney.
12/30/16 – A woman in North Judson asked to speak to an officer and reported being held hostage for the last few days at a residence in Jackson Township.
01/01/17 – A resident in the 600 block of south State Road 23 in Knox reported someone breaking into her house.
01/01/17 – A resident in the 800 block of east 50 South in Knox reported vehicles were vandalized during the night.
01/01/17 – A neighbor reported vandalism to a vacant house in the 5300 bock of east 200 South in Knox. Considerable damage was noted.
01/01/17 – A Knox resident advised she and her daughter are being threatened and harassed by a known suspect.
01/01/17 – A resident in the 2600 block of West Second Ave. in North Judson advised a pit bull got inside the neighbor’s chicken coop and killed the chickens.
01/01/17 – A resident in the 2400 block of East Toto Road in Knox reported keys stolen.
01/01/17 – A vehicle versus deer crash was occurred on State Road 10. The caller drove home to North Judson before contacting the sheriff’s office.
