5/1/17 – A two-vehicle accident was reported at the intersection of State Roads 8 and 23. The Starke County Sheriff’s Office, Starke County EMS and Washington Township Fire Department all responded.

5/2/17 – A resident in the 6900 block of east 400 South in Knox reported suspicious activity at the neighbor’s residence.
5/2/17 – A single-vehicle property damage accident was reported in the 8100 block o south U.S. 421 in San Pierre.
5/3/17 – A single-vehicle injury accident was reported on State Road 8 west of the tracks in Knox. The Starke County Sheriff’s Office and Starke County EMS responded.
5/4/17 – A two-vehicle property damage accident was reported at the intersection of Railroad and Starke Streets in Hamlet.
5/4/17 – A vehicle versus deer property damage accident was reported on State Road 10.
5/5/17 – A Knox man reported being scammed on eBay.
5/5/17 – A resident in the 1400 block of west 400 South in North Judson advised a suspicious man in a dark hoodie just ran through her property to the property next door, which is supposed to be unoccupied.
5/5/17 – A single vehicle property damage accident was reported on Toto Road west of U.S. 35 in Knox.
5/6/17 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Office, Starke County EMS and Washington Township Fire Department all responded to house fire in the 7300 block of east 25 North in Knox.
5/6/17 – A property damage accident involving a FedEx truck and a car was reported in the 3100 block of east 400 South in Knox on private property.
5/6/17 – A resident in the 5300 block of Elm Street in Bass Lake reported her windows were broken and believed it was vandalism. The incident report indicates a tree branch was responsible.
5/6/17 – A single vehicle property damage accident was reported on State Road 10 east of State Road 23 in Knox.
5/71/7 – A two-vehicle property damage accident was reported in the North Judson Dollar General parking lot.
5/7/17 – A property owner in the 1100 block of east 150 South in Knox reported a damaged mailbox.
5/7/17 – A caller advised 4-wheelers are flying up and down the road in the area of Rolling Dunes Subdivision at the intersection of 700 East and Toto Road in Knox.
5/7/17 – A two-vehicle property damage accident was reported at the intersection of U.S. 30 and State Road 23 in Grovertown.
5/7/17 – A caller advised the 4-wheelers are back in Rolling Dunes Subdivision at the intersection of 700 East and Toto Road in Knox and are now driving through people’s yards.
5/7/17 – A caller reported 4-wheelers tearing up the area of Garba Drive.
5/7/17 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Office, Starke County EMS and North Judson Fire Department all responded to an injury accident on U.S. 421 north of 400 South in San Pierre. The driver of a scooter wrecked it into the ditch, and the extent of his injuries is not known.
5/7/17 – The owner of a home in the 10200 block of east 600 North in Koontz Lake reported a light was out and two doors were open upon arrival.

5/6/17 – Michael Allen DeWitt, 32, Knox – Disorderly conduct, resisting law enforcement, intimidation on law enforcement and refusal to aid an officer.
5/6/17 – Jeffrey A. Japkowski, 39, North Judson – Operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a prior conviction, operating a vehicle with an ACE of .15 or more and operating while intoxicated.
