Open House Planned Sunday for Culver Building Trades Home

Culver Community High School’s building trades class is showing off its latest project this weekend. Students from Culver, Knox, and North Judson worked on the 1,600-square-foot, four-bedroom, three-bathroom home at 215 Lakeview Street over the past nine months, according to the school corporation’s website.

Culver Building Trades Open House Set for Sunday

The members of the Culver Building Trades class invite the residents of Culver to an open house on Sunday, May 28 to see their finished assigned project.

Culver Community Interim Superintendent Chuck Kitchell told the school board in a recent public meeting that the students worked on building a garage underneath a small house. He added that the job was unique as the owners wanted a different concept for the project that was selected for this year.

The open house is Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. ET at 728 Nueva Gorda Street in Culver.

Culver Building Trades Open House Scheduled

The Culver building trades class has scheduled an open house for their finished project.

Culver Building Trades Class Finishes Project

  
 

The Culver Building Trades class recently finished a project at Bass Lake. Vocational Director Jerry Hollenbaugh said a beautiful home – and one of the largest the class has worked on – was built for A.J. Gappa and his family. Students from Culver Community Schools, North Judson-San Pierre Schools and Knox Community Schools participated in this project under the direction of Kyle Elliott.
