Winamac High School Drama Dept. To Present Uh Oh! Here Comes Christmas

The Winamac Community High School Drama Department will present the musical Uh Oh! Here Comes Christmas on Saturday, Dec. 1 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 2 at 1 p.m. and at 6 p.m. ET in the Socialtorium.

Director Patrick Shuttrow says the production has a balance of humor and poignancy with a combination of songs and short stories just in time for the holiday season. Shuttrow added that the production presented some unique challenges and the students were challenged in representing emotions and humor within the piece. They did a great job working through those challenges and will present a good show this weekend.

Admission at the door is $7 and the doors will open 45 minutes prior to each performance.

Winamac Drama Department to Present Nunsense A-Men

The Drama Department of Winamac Community High School will soon proudly present a dinner theatre to start the 2011-2012 school year off on the right foot. Director Patrick Schuttrow was approached by a group of seniors that came up with the idea and wanted to see it happen.

After some deliberation, the group decided to perform Nunsense A-men, a spin-off of the popular Nunsense series composed by Dan Goggin. In this version, the characters are played by men, giving male actors a chance to be part of the fun in this show that has delighted audiences for nearly three decades.
