Eastern Pulaski School Board Opens Public Hearing for Teacher Bargaining

Eastern Pulaski School Board President Tim Rausch opened a public hearing Monday night to hear comments on teacher bargaining.  The topics surrounding teacher bargaining include teacher salaries and wages, wage-related benefits pertaining to health, dental, vision, accident, sickness, retirement, life, disability, and paid time off as permitted to be bargained under Indiana code.

Eastern Pulaski Policy Overhaul Moving Forward

The Eastern Pulaski Community School Corporation’s policy overhaul is almost complete. “Until now, Eastern Pulaski administration had been writing our own policies and attempting to keep them updated as new laws and regulations took place,” Superintendent Dara Chezem explains. “So in order to avoid being out of compliance, the school board voted last August to enter into a partnership with NEOLA.”
