The Food Finders Food Bank Mobile Pantry is Scheduled to Stop in Pulaski County this Friday

Food Finders Food Bank Mobile Pantry will be making a stop in Winamac this week. This Friday, starting at 11 a.m. ET the mobile food bank will at the Pulaski County Highway Garage supplying groceries to individuals in need.

The food will be distributed on a first come first serve basis. Patrons are encouraged to bring along a laundry basket, box or something else to carry away food since the pantry does not supply containers. Some of the items that will be available include frozen meats, cereal, vegetables, baked goods and beverages.

No smoking, swearing or obscene gestures are allowed on the premises. Fighting and aggressive behavior will not be tolerated. Individuals are only allowed to go through the line once and people are asked to leave the site once they’ve received their food items.

The Food Finders Mobile Pantry food giveaway day is set for Friday, Oct. 11 at 11 a.m. ET at the Pulaski County Human Services building in Winamac.

Free food will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis. You are encouraged to bring a laundry basket or box to carry food home. Frozen meat, baked goods, beverages, vegetables, snacks and cereal are just a few of the items that will be given out.

The Food Finders Mobile Pantry is heading to Winamac on Friday, July 12, when those in need can pick up food beginning at 11 a.m. Food Finders has asked that participants not come more than 15 minutes early for health and safety reasons. The pantry will distribute food at the Pulaski County Human Services office, located at 115 W. Pearl St.

Possible items to be distributed include frozen meat, baked goods, beverages, vegetables, snacks, and cereal, and the organization is requesting that participants bring a laundry basket or box in which to carry the food home.

The mobile pantry is a program that is available to those who meet 185 percent of the federal poverty guidelines of $1772 monthly or $21,257 annual income for a single household, $2392 monthly or $28,694 annually for a two-member household, or $3,011 monthly or $36,131 annually for a three-member household. Four member households must earn less than $43,568 annually; five-member households $51,005; and six-member households $58,442. For each additional household member, add $620 per month.

The Food Finders Mobile Pantry is heading to Medaryville on Friday, where those in need can pick up food from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Food Finders has asked that participants not come more than 15 minutes early for health and safety reasons. The pantry will distribute food at the Medaryville Town Park.

Food Finders Mobile Pantry to Give Away Food April 5

 
 
They say there’s no such thing as a free lunch, but the Food Finders Mobile Pantry is seeking to change that with their Food Give Away Day on Friday, April 5. The event will take place at Pulaski County Human Services, located at 115 W. Pearl St. in Winamac at 11 a.m., where the Food Finders Food Bank will distribute food on a first-come, first-served basis.

Items to be distributed include frozen meat, beverages, snacks, cereal, vegetables, and baked goods, and the program is available to those who meet 185 percent of the federal poverty guidelines. For a household of one, monthly income cannot exceed $1723 and annual income cannot exceed $20,665; for a household of two, monthly income cannot exceed $2333 or $27,991 annually; households of three, $2944 monthly or $35,317 annually. For larger households, add $611 per month for each additional household member.

Food Finders Mobile Pantry to be in Winamac Friday

 The Food Finders Mobile Pantry Truck will be in Winamac tomorrow morning at the Pulaski County Human Services Building at 11 a.m. ET.

If you meet eligibility requirements, you will be able to pick up free frozen meat, beverages, snacks, baked goods, vegetables and cereal on a first come, first served basis. You have to meet 185 percent of the federal poverty guidelines to participate.
