Four Injured in Crash on U.S. 421 in Pulaski County Monday

Four people were hurt Monday afternoon in a crash at U.S. 421 and Pulaski County Road 200 South. A Hyundai Elantra was reportedly heading west on 200 South, when it pulled into the path of a Ford Econoline E350 that was heading south. The driver of the Hyundai, Samuel D. Jones, 29, of Mapleton, Illinois, reportedly told police that he didn’t realize the intersection wasn’t a four-way stop.

Francesville Police Vehicle to Get New Radar System

The newly-purchased police vehicle for the Francesville Police Department will soon be outfitted with a new radar system.

Francesville Clerk-Treasurer Linda Bennett said new decals are being put on the new 2018 Dodge pickup and a new radar system will be ordered. Town Marshal Doug Lee said he is seeking quotes to update the radar system for the new truck. The current system is outdated.

Francesville Grain Elevator Explosion Injures Two
