CONTEST: A Hero Card Challenge

How would you like to win an autographed hero card from NASCAR drivers Justin Allgaier, Ryan Truex or David Gilliliand?  All you need to do is answer a question from interviews conducted by Anita Goodan and Mitch Columbe on Saturday at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Interviews were posted on this page over the weekend.  You will need to listen to these interviews in order to answer these questions.   Here are the questions for which you’ll need to research:

Justin Allgaier discussed the new Chase format.  Which driver did he say is sort of a surprise in the Chase but should be there because he continues to put the car in contention for wins?

When you have the answers, email anita@wkvi.com with your name, address and phone number along with the correct answer.  All winning answers will be put into a drawing and four names will be selected from a blind draw. Four individuals will win an autographed hero card from Ryan Truex and Justin Allgaier; one winner will be selected for a David Gilliand hero card.   Only one answer per household and only one guess per contestant.  Drawing will be held Friday, Aug. 1 at Noon CT.

Gilliland has been very busy this weekend watching his son race and preparing for the John Wayne Walding 400 at the Brickyard. Race Teams Welcome Sponsors for 2014 Season

It’s been a busy off season for teams and owners as sponsorships get into line for the upcoming season.

It was announced Tuesday that Love’s Travel Stops will expand its partnership with Front Row Motorsports. The primary sponsorship is slated for 14 races in the 2014 season, which is a significant increase. from last season. The sponsor will be on David Gilliand’s No 38 at the season-opening Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway and for 13 other races in the season.

Front Row Motorsports Teammates to Feature MS Decals on Race Cars

Teammates David Ragan and David Gilliland will feature Multiple Sclerosis Society decals on their race cars at Homestead-Miami Speedway on Sunday.

Ragan will be driving the No. 34 Taco Bell Ford and Gilliland will be driving the No. 38 Long John Silvers Ford for Front Row Motorsports. The pair stated that with the announcement of a fellow competitor with MS, this symbol means a lot more.
