Ribbon Cutting and Open House for the Knox Pop-Up Store is Right Around the Corner

A unique opportunity for local business owners was highlighted during Tuesday night’s Knox City Council meeting.

Mayor Dennis Estok reminded council members and meeting attendees about this Saturday’s Pop-Up Store ribbon cutting.

Officials will be unveiling the new establishment at 10 S. Main Street tomorrow at 12 p.m.

Monday is the Last Day to Sign-Up for Knox’s Holiday Decorating Contest

The final day to sign up for the Holiday Decorating Contest in the City of Knox will be Monday, December 10th.

In order to get signed up all you have to do is call the Mayor’s Office and provide your name and address, then you’ll be added to the list of homes that will be judged. You can call during business hours or leave a message with all necessary information on the Mayor’s voicemail.

The Knox Peppermint Parade has Been Rescheduled Due to Anticipated Inclement Weather

Due to the inclement weather that is anticipated for Saturday, December 1st, the Knox Peppermint Parade has been rescheduled for Saturday, December 15th.

Knox Residents Encouraged to Participate in the Annual Holiday Decorating Contest

One perk to the sun setting sooner around this time of year is having more time to appreciate all the vibrant decorations. In order to give Knox residents a chance to show off their Christmas spirit, officials are hosting a holiday decorating contest.
