The Town of Medaryville has a new council member. President Derrick Stalbaum resigned recently due to his relocation outside the town limits. The Pulaski County Democratic Party has a new chair and vice-chair following the resignation of their longtime leader. Bill Reutebuch recently stepped down, citing out-of-town work schedules and responsibilities. Vice-chair Laura Bailey was appointed chair for the remainder of his term, and John Plowman was named vice-chair. Continue reading
The Pulaski County Council heard from Laura Bailey, the vice chairperson of the Pulaski County Election Board, about changes that will be made to put municipal elections more in line with the law.
Bailey explained that paperwork for a financial agreement pertaining to municipal elections has not been signed.
