Linderman Arrested on Warrant after 2011 Incident

Plymouth City police officers have arrested a suspect after investigating additional information received from a case in 2011.

The additional information was received on Nov. 4, 2014 regarding a house fire at 707 Pearl Street in Plymouth on March 3, 2011. According to a previous report, an explosion occurred at the residence where a victim was severely burned and another injured. A meth lab was discovered at the residence.

Detectives followed up on the additional information received and requested the reports be reviewed by the Marshall County Prosecutor.

Plymouth Man Arrested on Suspicion of Child Molestation

A Plymouth man is accused of child molesting after a report was made about an incident involving a teenager.

On Sunday, Oct. 26, Plymouth City Police Department officers received a complaint of sexual activity between a 20-year-old man and a 13-year-old female, according to a news release. Police say during the course of the investigation, information revealed that two sexual encounters took place at a location in Plymouth on Monday, Oct. 6 and on Saturday, Oct. 11.

Devante Halcomb, 20, was interrogated by police on Monday, Oct. 27 and was subsequently arrested and booked into the Marshall County Jail on a preliminary charge of child molesting as a Level 3 felony. Bond has been set at $50,000 cash.

Plymouth Woman Arrested on Forgery, Identity Theft Charges

A Plymouth woman was arrested on Monday after allegedly presenting a counterfeit identification card at a medical facility.

When Plymouth City Police Department officers arrived at the facility in the 2800 block of Miller Drive in Plymouth, they reportedly saw Xiomara Duarte, 40, sign a document with the fictitious name on the counterfeit identification card.

Duarte was questioned and reportedly admitted to signing the fictitious name. She also admitted to purchasing the counterfeit card, according to police.

Three Arrested on Drug Charges

 
 

Plymouth city officers went to a home in the 700 block of Mansfield Street in Plymouth to serve and execute the warrant in a theft investigation. Upon searching the residence, officers reportedly found stolen property along with substances believed to be methamphetamine and heroin. Police also allegedly found drug paraphernalia inside the home.  Continue reading
