The Eastern Pulaski Community School Corporation is looking to improve school bus safety in its latest round of school handbooks. Superintendent Dara Chezem says school buses will load and unload on the door side only, when the bus is operated on a highway within town limits, eliminating the need for kids to cross the highway to get to the bus.

The Culver Community Schools Corporation is busy preparing for the upcoming school year. Interim Superintendent Chuck Kitchell told the school board Monday that one of the changes in 2016-2017 is the official consolidation of the middle and high schools into one facility. Continue reading
