Eastern Pulaski School Board Finalizes Highway Bus Stop Adjustment in Latest School Handbooks

The Eastern Pulaski Community School Corporation is looking to improve school bus safety in its latest round of school handbooks. Superintendent Dara Chezem says school buses will load and unload on the door side only, when the bus is operated on a highway within town limits, eliminating the need for kids to cross the highway to get to the bus.

Proposed Student, Employee Handbook Updates Presented to Eastern Pulaski School Board

The Eastern Pulaski Community School Corporation is looking to move bus stops off of highways. A proposed update to the transportation handbook would eliminate all highway stops both in and out of town, according to the draft minutes from last week’s school board meeting. Another change would offer more guidance on when drivers should use the buses’ strobe lights.

O-D School Board Approves Student Handbooks, Tables Athletic Handbook for Further Review

The Oregon-Davis student handbooks won’t see any major changes this year, but the athletic handbook may get some updates. The school board approved the 2019-2020 student handbooks for both the elementary and the junior/senior high schools Monday, according to Superintendent Dr. Don Harman. He says the only changes were the dates, names of staff members, and updated instructional fees.

Oregon-Davis Plans to Adopt ALICE Procedure, As Part of Revised Crisis Plan

NJSP School Board to Consider Handbook Revisions and General Obligation Bond Resolution Tonight

North Judson-San Pierre school board members will take action on the wellness, technology and strategic and accountability plans when they meet tonight at 7 p.m.
