The 2018 tax season is about to get underway, and the Indiana Department of Revenue has a few tips to help save you some money. Taxpayers with an adjusted gross income of $66,000 or less may file for free, with the INfreefile program. The Department of Revenue expects that almost 2 million Hoosiers will qualify for free filing this year.

Tax Preparation Appointments Still Available at Library
Slots are still available for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program at the Henry F. Schricker Starke County Public Library branch in Knox. They will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Appointments are available on Wednesdays, March 23rd, 30th and April 6th, which is the final day for the program.
