Wanatah is commemorating their 150th anniversary with a weekend long celebration packed full of fun for the whole family. Events include kids rides, a “Times Remembered” historical demonstration tent, and agricultural, genealogy and Wanatah Historical Society displays at the Wanatah School. Wanatah Library Gets Grant

The Wanatah Public Library has secured a $4,000 grant from the BP Fueling Program.

Officials at Triple J-Mar Petroleum, Inc. recently announced the grant’s recipient. The funds were used to purchase E-Books from Overdrive, one of the nation’s largest e-book providers. The library staff is excited to provide E-Books to the residents of Wanatah and the surrounding areas.
