A published author from North Judson has announced she will be doing a book signing at the North Judson-Wayne Township Public Library today from 10 a.m. to noon. Dr. Laura L. Boilini recently published her first book, “Life’s Bouquet,” a compilation of the many lessons she learned from various people in her life. The book includes 14 chapters, each dedicated to an individual or individuals in her life that include a painting, a poem, a story, and a letter written to the influential person or persons.
Boilini expressed that the book covers many topics, including growth, self-doubt and self-discovery, as well as the formal teachers who helped her with her sense of development, the informal teachers who impacted her life with lessons outside the traditional classroom, and even topics like cancer, Alzheimer’s, and the relationships forged through shared experiences.
Boilini said she hopes the book touches people and helps them to remember their own life lessons and what they have brought forth. You can meet Boilini at the book signing today at the library from 10 a.m. to noon.
