Jeff Larrison told WKVI Tuesday that the bridge will be open on Nov. 22. Due to contract obligations, the bridge must be open by that date.
The bridge project has gone smoothly so far. There was a bit of a slow start as weather played a big part in getting the construction off the ground.
A ribbon cutting ceremony has not been officially announced as officials are attempting to coordinate a date and time for the event. Regardless, the bridge will be open to travelers on Friday, Nov. 22.
