Pulaski County’s Savor Indiana Special Published

  
 
The “Savor Indiana” special for Pulaski County has been produced and is now available for to be viewed at the website of Associated Images after nearly six months since the county commissioners gave the project their go-ahead. The commissioners approved a $10,000 expense in July 2013 to feature the county on the PBS program aimed at promoting tourism.

Nathan Origer, executive director of the Pulaski County Community Development Commission, said the 30-minute program highlights various tourist attractions – everything from outdoor recreation and nature opportunities to unique dining options that visitors might find attractive

“Savor Indiana is a television program run on PBS, all across the state of Indiana, produced by Associated Images out of Indianapolis, and it’s essentially a tourism marketing program. Thought it’d be a really good opportunity to do a little more focus on tourism in Pulaski County,” Origer said.

Some of the attractions featured in the program include Tippecanoe River State Park, Jones Robotic Dairy, Apple Blossom Honey Farm, Five Loaves Bakery & Cafe, Prairie Moon Orchard, Fort Knox Paintball, Stonewheel Pottery and the Patio Drive-In Restaurant.
