A Starke County jury has found Donald Frazier guilty on two counts in a one-day trial.
The six-member jury took less than 15 minutes Wednesday to find Frazier guilty on charges of Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated and Possession of Paraphernalia. He pleaded guilty to a charge of Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated with a Prior Conviction and that merged with the other OVWI charge which made it a Class D felony.
Five witnesses testified for both the State and the defense. Donald Frazier also took the stand in his own defense.
Frazier operated a vehicle with a .08 blood alcohol count which is the legal limit. He committed the offense on Halloween night during trick or treat hours in Hamlet.
Frazier will be sentenced in Starke Circuit Court on Wednesday, May 28 at 11 a.m. CT.
