Winamac Winter Wonderland This Weekend

The Winter Wonderland event is taking place in Winamac Saturday.

Pulaski County Chamber of Commerce executive director Angie Anspach says they have a full day of events planned, “It’s from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., which is the craft show at Eastern Pulaski Elementary School, and then from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. we’re having events going on in Downtown Winamac. We’re having Santa at the Public Library. At the courthouse, we’re having entertainment, and in the Winamac Area, there are going to be food booths and participating businesses are going to have some specials and stuff going on.”

She says there will be a wide variety of performances taking place, “Some of our entertainment is vocal and instrumental performances by local talent. I know we are having square dancers and some other talent coming in the courthouse, so it should be a fun time, a fun day.”

Anspach says there are even more opportunities to find local crafts, “At the Pulaski Human Services, they’re having a craft sale, and they’re also bringing in some alumni memorabilia, which is from 1920 to 1980. So they’re just giving that out to anybody that’s interested.” Plus, WKVI will be there to announce the Holiday Parade taking place downtown from noon to 1:00 p.m.

Anspach says these are just some of the events going on Saturday, “We’re just having so much going on that day. It’s going to be a great day and hopefully, a lot of people show up and come out and have a lot of fun.”
