Pulaski County EMS will soon be able to accept credit card payments for services rendered. Currently the county ambulance service can only accept cash and check payments from patients.
Officials told the county commissioners on Monday many health savings accounts issue debit cards, which can be used exclusively for medical payments. The commissioners unanimously agreed to let Pulaski County EMS proceed with setting up a credit card payment system similar to what is used in the clerk’s office.
