A major Northwest Indiana company is celebrating 70 years in business. Chester Incorporated was established in 1947, when Orville Redenbacher and Charles Bowman purchased the George F. Chester & Sons Seed Company, according to company officials.
Today, Chester, Incorporated is a privately-held, family-owned corporation, specializing in agricultural systems, architectural and construction services, and information technology.
