Francesville Woman Arrested on Drug, Neglect of a Dependent Charges

A report of a possible domestic incident Wednesday night led to a Francesville woman being arrested on drug charges. Deputies from the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office were called to a home in the 100 block of North Plummer Street around 10:00 p.m., after a caller said they heard screaming and yelling coming from a house.

When officers arrived, they say they found a “significant quantity of marijuana” inside, along with evidence of dealing marijuana. Further investigation reportedly turned up more marijuana, firearms, paraphernalia, and legend drugs.

Krystle G. Danford was arrested on felony charges of Unlawful Possession or Use of a Legend Drug, Maintaining a Common Nuisance, and Neglect of a Dependent. She also faces misdemeanor charges of Dealing in Marijuana, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Paraphernalia.

Police say Danford’s three children were in the home at the time, and the Indiana Department of Child Services was called in to assist. The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office expects to make more arrests as the investigation continues.
