Winamac Town Council Approves Zoning Request for Pulaski County Health Foundation

During their meeting last night, the Winamac Town Council acted on a zoning request for 6.2 acres on US 35 to be utilized by Pulaski County Health Foundation to construct an assisted living center.

Scott Fritz spoke on behalf of the Pulaski County Health Foundation, telling the members that the foundation had gone through all the proper procedures before coming before the council. Town Manager Brad Zellers confirmed that the project already came before the planning commission and received approval.

The zoning request dealt with altering the lot in question from an A1 zone to a C2 zone, which permits a wider range of uses. The board unanimously approved the zoning request.
