The bridge on Pulaski County Road 700 North over Bogus Run is a step closer to getting some upgrades. Last week, the county commissioners opened bridge rehabilitation bids from four construction companies. They ranged from just under $480,000 to over $718,000.
The proposals will now be evaluated by engineers with United Consulting. Once that’s done, the commissioners are expected to choose a contractor during next week’s meeting. Construction is expected to take place next year.
The 700 North bridge work will be funded in part by money from the 2016 Community Crossings grant.
