Eastern Pulaski Schools’ STEM programs will get some new equipment, thanks to the Rural and Low-Income Schools grant.
Superintendent Dan Foster told the school board last week that the corporation’s application for nearly $24,000 has been approved. “We got a lot of equipment funding for robotics at the elementary, robotics at the high school, Nanoline, TECHFIT type stuff, Dr. Gordon, Emma Kiser,” Foster explained. “There’s, I want to say, about $9,000 to $10,000 worth of equipment that’s actually going to be coming into the school from this, so a lot of neat stuff.”
The Rural and Low-Income Schools Program is administered by the Indiana Department of Education with funding from the federal government.
