Two Injured in Accident at Knox Elementary School

 

The Knox City Police Department is investigating an accident where a mother and daughter were reportedly hit by a car as they were crossing the street at the crosswalk Wednesday just after 7:30 a.m. in the student drop-off area at the Knox Elementary School.

According to Knox Community School Superintendent Dr. William Reichhart, both the mother and daughter were injured, but their injuries were not life-threatening. They were taken to Starke Hospital.

No other information is available at this time. Knox City Police Chief Harold Smith told WKVI News that more details will be released as their investigation allows.
