Government Services to be Offered at Pulaski County Justice Center, During Courthouse Construction

Construction in the Pulaski County Courthouse has county officials offering alternatives for those who need to visit government offices. The basement entrance on the west side of the courthouse will be closed during the courthouse elevator replacement project, since it will be in the construction area.

According to the county’s maintenance department, those who are unable to use the stairs can meet with government officials in the lobby of the Pulaski County Justice Center, instead. Those wishing to do so are asked to call the necessary office ahead of time. A list of phone numbers can be found below.

County officials say their mission is to put the safety of the public first, and they apologize for any inconvenience. The elevator replacement project is part of the county’s response to a class action lawsuit alleging a lack of ADA compliance in the county’s government buildings.
