Quiet Space Project in Francesville Taking Shape

A portion of the Francesville Town Park is being developed as a quiet space and additional work was recently completed.

According to Clerk-Treasurer Linda Bennett, large rock quarry stones were donated to the town park to be used in this space and they are being used as part of a waterfall. A bench is located in the space as well as a pergola, tall pine trees, shrubs and other plants to create a serene environment for visitors to enjoy.

A $10,000 grant from the Pulaski County Community Foundation was obtained to help fund this improvement along with many individual monetary donations and material.

The quiet space is in the southern part of the park, a distance from the other parts of the park that feature community interaction.
