Knox City Police Chief Assists Code Enforcement Officer

Code Enforcement Officer Kenny Pfost was recently assisted by Knox City Police Chief Harold Smith. When the Board of Works members met Wednesday morning, Chief Smith reported on the tag-team effort.

“Last week, Code Enforcement Officer Kenny Pfost wanted me to go with him to several residences here in town to enforce a couple ordinances, vehicle violations.” Chief Smith elaborated, “I tagged like four vehicles and gave them 72 hours to remove them from the property.”

Chief Smith said that all of the residents complied and had the vehicles removed from their properties within the specified amount of time.
