Pulaski County Coroner’s Office Releases Name of Victim Found at the Scene of Last Month’s House Fire

The Pulaski County Coroner’s Office has released the identity of the individual who was found at the scene of a house fire in rural Medaryville last month.

The Coroner’s Office identified the male victim as William O’Neil Toosley. The next of kin has been notified by the Chief Deputy Coroner. The cause of death was previously announced and it was determined to be homicide while the manner of death was blunt force trauma to the head.

In their most recent press release, the Coroner’s Office extended their gratitude to the multiple agencies and individuals who assisted with this Medicolegal Death Investigation.

As previously reported, the fire occurred at a home in the 9000 block of County Road 300 North in Medaryville on August 13th around 2 p.m. ET. Danny Clark, a person of interest in the case, has been charged with murder and arson resulting in serious bodily injury, according to authorities.
