Two people were taken into custody Tuesday night as an investigation continues into an armed robbery incident at a Koontz Lake gas station.
Starke County Sheriff Bill Dulin said more information should be released today. The names of the suspects arrested have not been released.
Police responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Marathon gas station at Koontz Lake Monday evening around 7:30 p.m. CT. The suspects were wearing bullet proof vests and masks and were armed with weapons. Numerous shots were fired, but no one was injured in the incident.
