Pulaski County Highway Department to Get $20,000 FEMA Reimbursement for Flood Damage

Last February’s flooding has led to a FEMA reimbursement for the Pulaski County Highway Department.

Highway Superintendent Terry Ruff told the county commissioners last week, “We went through all the hoops with FEMA. I think we’re only actually going to get $20,000 out of them for the flood damage we had last spring. You wouldn’t realize all the hoops you’ve got to jump through. It’s a mess.”

Ruff said the reimbursement was approved last Monday.
