Five Arrested on Drug Charges

Five people were arrested on Monday after officers of the Starke County SWAT executed a search warrant at a home in the 1700 North block of 300 E. in Knox.

Officers allegedly found over 10 grams of methamphetamine at the residence along with precursors, drug paraphernalia, and other items used to manufacture methamphetamine.  Marijuana was also reportedly found inside a car at the residence. 

Alexander Chambers

Alexander Chambers, 29, of Knox, faces preliminary felony charges of dealing, manufacturing and possession of methamphetamine, possession of precursors and paraphernalia, as well as maintaining a common nuisance. 

Philip Myers

Philip Myers, 55, of Knox, faces preliminary felony charges of dealing and possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, and visiting a common nuisance. 

Both Chambers and Myers are being held in the Starke County Jail with no bond.

Robin Shively Jr.

Robin Shively Jr., 31, of Knox, has a preliminary charge of visiting a common nuisance.  It was also noted that he had an arrest warrant for revocation of probation.  He is currently being held on a $1,000 cash bond. 

Sara Hopkins

Sara Hopkins, 41, of South Bend, faces preliminary charges of unlawful possession of a syringe and visiting a common nuisance.  She also has two Starke County Circuit Court warrants along with a body attachment.  She is being held in the Starke County Jail with no bond.

Tiffany Shively

Tiffany Shively, 28, of Knox, has a preliminary charge of visiting a common nuisance.  She is being held on a $300 cash bond. 

All subjects are innocent until proven guilty.
