Knox Man Arrested after Crashing into Plymouth Home Sunday Night

A Knox Man was lodged in the Marshall County Jail Sunday evening after allegedly striking a Plymouth home while under the influence of alcohol.

According to a press release, shortly before 7 p.m. on Sunday, February 10, the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department received a report that a vehicle had crashed into a house in the area of SR 17 and Hillcrest Avenue. It was further reported that the vehicle had struck the home’s gas meter.

Officers from the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department responded, along with Plymouth Fire and E.M.S. At the scene, the driver of the vehicle 27-year-old Ethan T. Patrick, of Knox, was found uninjured. During the course of the investigation it was also determined that Patrick was reportedly intoxicated.

He was arrested and lodged in the Marshall County Jail on charges of operating while intoxicated – endangering a life and operating while intoxicated with a BAC above 0.15%.
