Giving students the best education increasingly has teachers analyzing various types of data. Oregon-Davis Elementary School Principal Bill Bennett discussed the process with the school board last week, according to Superintendent Dr. Don Harman.
“They have learning logs;” Harman says, “how they have grade-level meetings; how we’ve used our formative assessment, which is the Pivot program; how we look at when we receive our state assessments; how we use data and how we analyze those results to help our students in the classroom.”
Harman says those in attendance found Bennett’s presentation very informative and worthwhile.
