Eastern Pulaski School Board Approved Transfer Student Capacities and Cut Off Date

In accordance with Indiana Code (IC 20-26-11-32), Eastern Pulaski School Board members took some action related to transfer student policies when they met Monday night.

Superintendent Dan Foster explained that this is a requirement for all schools who accept transfer students. Just as in past years, March 1st was recommended as the deadline to accept transfer students.

Another element was setting the transfer student capacities at each school. Superintendent Foster said those were unchanged from previous years as well.

Foster explained, “Officially, if any of these buildings hit this number, we’d be thrilled to death and we’d be adding staff but the elementary could go up to 740, the middle up to 350 and the high school 460.”

Board members voted unanimously to approve the enrollment cut off date and the capacity numbers.
