NJ Park Board President Alerts Town Council About Potential for Food Truck Fridays

The possibility of bringing “Food Truck Fridays” to Norwayne Field this summer was discussed with North Judson Town Council members this week.

Park Board President Nick Radke told council members Monday night that he was recently approached by a group of food vendors who inquired about coming into town.

Radke explained, “They want to set up there in Norwayne Field on Fridays in the afternoon to sell food.”

He continued, “It’s food only and I guess they have some contacts with bands they wanted to maybe play some music.”

He said the vendors discussed hosting these events every Friday during the months of May, June, July and August.  Radke asked CommonWealth Project Engineer Rob Bellucci if the well project would interfere with that proposed schedule and he responded that it should not.

From what Radke told the town council this week, it doesn’t sound like anything has been finalized yet. During the meeting he simply alerted members of the potential opportunity and ensured that the well project would not have any impact should officials decide to proceed with these events.

Additional information about this possibility will be shared as soon as it becomes available.
